New information regarding Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire have come to light, the new Pokémon games that will be released later this year. A new type of Mega Evolution so called “Ancient Devolution.” Groudon and Kyogre will have a special ancient form instead of a Mega Evolution that we have seen in the previous game.

Dying Light is a zombie apocalypse-themed game set in an open world similar to South American slums and cities. During the day, players traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population with a heavy focus on free-running mechanics. Players also can customize the four characters in the game.

It was announced that the continuation of Microsoft’s DLC deal with Activision, which will see Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare content arrive on Xbox first. The Sledgehammer-developed shooter was then shown via a gameplay demonstration. You can pick up the new CoD offering on November 4.

Do you feel its fair that Xbox gets the DLC before everyone else or do you think its totally justified?

Mudkip and Treecko Have Mega Evolutions In The New Pokémon Remakes

That’s not all: as suspected, Groudon and Kyogre will have new forms in the new Pokémon remakes, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire.P

The information comes from CoroCoro magazine scans posted by Pokemon website Serebii.

According to Serebii, Mega Sceptile (aka Treecko’s mega) is a Grass/Dragon type Pokemon and will have the “Lightning Rod” ability. Mega Swampert (aka Mudkip’s mega) will retain his typing, but will have the “Swift Swim” ability

Groudon and Kyogre’s mega evolutions, meanwhile, are a little trickier. Technically, their new forms are called “Ancient Devolution,” though that name might be different in the English release of the game—remember, this is all translated from Japanese. The new forms for these legendary Pokemon will have some sort of prehistoric tie, which explains why the box art made both Pokemon look slightly different from their normal forms. Looks like the conspiracy theories were right!

Additionally, some of the story for the remakes will revolve around a character trying to dig into Mega Evolutions, but details are scarce right now. Team Aqua and Team Magma both make a return as well, though that’s not exactly surprising.

Smash Bros U New Features Announced

New_Challenger_Approaching

As you may already know from my earlier article (http://setinstonegaming.com/2013/08/31/super-smash-bros-by-daniel-estephane/) I’m a massive Smash Bros fan so this is BIG news for me, and hopefully some of you out there too.

This video shows us some of the core components of the new Smash Bros game for both Wii U and 3DS, and I have to say, they have gone all out on this one. New levels, new items, new Pokemon and character trophies. They announced changes in certain characters move sets and they also showed off some new characters too.

Im also really excited about the new online features. Instead of limiting you to a 2 minute free for all, they’ve added matches with customs rules, online just for fun or in it for glory modes and a clever yet simple ranking system. Even the 3DS will support online features.

All in all, I like the look of everything so far, maybe a bit fearful of what moves they may have changed but also kinda excited for it. What do you guys think? Dislike some of the changes? Wanna see more new characters? Watch the video and give us a comment below, or join the discussion on our forum.

Oh and don’t miss the bonus clip at the end of the video
