As a keen console gamer for three decades it is clear that significant changes have occurred in the industry. In the early 8 bit and 16 bit generations, products shipped to retailers, were reviewed, and if they were good (or had a sizeable marketing budget) then they would join the honourable yet foul stench of bad feet and good nutsacks in the bedrooms of teenage boys. Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes sold three times as much on PS4 as on Xbox One

Xbox must be looking a bit red faced at the moment as Konami has revealed a significant sales bias for March release Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes. konami’s latest financial report reveals that the game sold three times as many copies on Sony’s PS4 as it did on Xbox One.

So this is the next generation of a ‘Keep Fit’ game, kind of a mix between Guitar Hero (but using your feet and and other body parts) and Wii Fit.

New Dying Light Trailer

Dying Light is a zombie apocalypse-themed game set in an open world similar to South American slums and cities. During the day, players traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population with a heavy focus on free-running mechanics. Players also can customize the four characters in the game.

Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC

It was announced that the continuation of Microsoft’s DLC deal with Activision, which will see Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare content arrive on Xbox first. The Sledgehammer-developed shooter was then shown via a gameplay demonstration. You can pick up the new CoD offering on November 4.
