Batman: Arkham Origins game breaking bugs won’t be fixed until after story DLC

Arkham Origins developer’s over at Warner Bros Montreal let down the Batman: Arkham Origins fans. on Friday. Community manager Mercury broke the news that the studio is currently working on story DLC because the streets of Gotham have need for Batman’s services once more. Exciting news, right? At least, it would be if the announcement of the development team’s focus didn’t come with some bad news.  WB Montreal delayed plans to fix the various bugs still being reported after the last patch in novemeber. If you’re lucky, bugs that prevent you from progressing in the story might get fixed after the DLC’s release.

The full text of Mercury’s original statement is below.

“Hi all,

The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums.

If we do move forward with creating a new patch, it will try to address the progression blocking bugs for players, not the minor glitches that do not prevent one from continuing to play. The issues that are not progression blockers will unfortunately no longer be addressed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for some of you, and want to thank you for having been patient.”

Now this is a little strange to me or is just to keep the money train going? who wants to buy DLC FOR a game that has game breaking bugs? Well let us know what your thoughts are on this in the comments.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z – Costume Trailer

I know a few of you are big Ninja Gaiden fans, I mean, the hell isn’t?! The new game in the series looks like its gone off of the usual Ninja Gaiden feel to it, but I don’t believe its a bad move. It has a new found comedy element to it and by this trailer, it shows it work.

Alien: Isolation Gameplay Trailer

I know we are all skeptical about this game after the tragedy which was Alien: Colonial Marines, BUT, with the creators kicking themselves and pulling their thumbs out, this game actually looks incredible. Equipped only with a flashlight and motion tracker, you must avoid and escape from the one alien that has wiped out your entire crew. Taking survival horror to a new chapter and possibly becoming an instant success, this game will test your nerves and judgement.
